Day Camp in nature
Aimed at kids who love the outdoors, trees, rivers, animals and nature in general.
Our Day Camp is like a day camp in Madrid, but surrounded by nature! Full of fun for children ages 3 to 12 in groups organised by age. Each week we propose a theme so that kids can have fun and learn a lot during their summer vacations in our beautiful surroundings along the banks of the Jarama river, very close to Madrid.

FUN SWEET FARM
WEEKS JUNE, 4 AND 8
ENTERING THE FARM
CONNECTING WITH THE ENVIRONMENT
This week is proposed as a first approach of the children to the activities of a farm, giving priority to the care, cleaning, maintenance and feeding of the animals. During all these years of Day Camp, the children have shown us a special interest in this type of activity, asking with great enthusiasm to visit the rodents, horses, goats, etc., and feed them. In order to achieve a week of total immersion in nature, the children will enjoy the following activities:
- Feeding and care of farm animals.
- Garden foods.
- Path along the Jarama river.
- Traditional games.
- Craft workshops.
- Multi-adventure activities.
* Notice to parents: we will keep you up to date with daily photos.
BUGS
WEEKS 1 AND 5
A BUG’S LIFE. EVERY BUG HAS HIS DAY
With this topic, we will show children the enormous variety of animals that encompasses the term “bugs”. They will understand some of the most important characteristics of the different groups that surround us.
We will try to take away the bad reputation that all bugs have in general (some due to their condition of parasites and others for their role in the transmision of diseases).
Every day, we will study a bug, getting to know its way of life and its funtion in nature. We will make traps and bug hotels and we will look for them to observe them with entertainment.
Our bug hunters will combine their work with sports and multi-adventure activities. And like every year, they will also enjoy taking care of the farm animals (cows, goats, sheep, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds).
After all this activity, campers deserve a dip, cooling off in our large pool.
I WANT TO BE A FARMER
WEEKS 2 AND 6
AGRICULTURAL TASKS
WHEN THERE WERE NO SHOPPING CENTRES
We want to teach children about a way of life different from their daily reality today. Our goal is to teach them how our ancestors lived, when there were no shopping centres, television, or new technologies. We travel back to the farms our grandparents knew, to rural areas where there were no buses or subways.
Children will learn how to manage natural resources, the importance of protecting the environment, and how to achieve sustainable development.
- Feeding and taking care of all our animals.
- Milking.
- Horseback riding.
- Food workshops: cookies, cheese, butter, bread …
- Working with wool.
- Traditional games.
- Caring for, irrigating and harvesting products from the garden.
- Agricultural tasks. (We sow, tend the garden, and harvest).
- We become farmers (shepherding, brushing horses, collecting eggs, milking, feeding farm animals, cleaning stables and cages etc.)
- Food transformation.
AROUND THE WORLD IN 5 DAYS
WEEKS 3 AND 7
DISCOVERING WORLD CULTURES
STIMULATION AND LEARNING
We are fortunate to live in a world with great cultural diversity, so this week we are going to dedicate it to a 5-day tour around this wonderful world. We will discover some of the cultures that we can find in the different continents, delving into and learning about the hilarious customs and traditions of some of their countries.
- Traditional games.
- Traditional tales.
- Path along the Jarama River.
- Craft workshops.
- Horse riding.
- Multiadventure.
And of course, we will combine all this with sports and adventure activities. Without forgetting the desired dip in the pool and/or water games!
