Urban Camps
FOR KIDS AGES 3 – 7 IN THE CENTRE OF MADRID
100% in Spanish, at the facilities of the Escuela Infantil Los Pinos (in Madrid’s Fuente del Berro Park, in the Salamanca district).
At this urban camp children will have the chance to participate in a variety of workshops and outdoor games, trips to the Madrid Zoo, Amusement Park, El Jarama Farm/School, etc., and the Fuente del Berro swimming pool, daily.
The groups will be small, and always supervised by CEI El Jarama staff, and/or staff from the other two organizing centres: E.I. Los Pinos and E.I. Trazos.
At these urban camps one can choose between a short, extended or full day.

A TYPICAL DAY AT THE LOS PINOS KIDS URBAN CAMP
The children’s safety and wellbeing is the most important aspect for the personnel that organise and run the camps. Activities and breaks are scheduled taking into account the hottest hours of the day, and meal times.

Breakfast. The children begin to arrive at 09:00. |
09:00 |
Assembly We start out with a camp assembly, to say good morning and announce what is on that day. |
9:15 |
Activity 1. The first activity of the day; for example, a kite workshop. |
10:30 |
Pool. A refreshing time at the pool. |
12:30 |
We return to the camp to enjoy a series of fun games. |
13:00 |
Lunch. It’s time to fuel up. |
13:45 |
La Siesta. A good time to relax, sleep, or play board games. |
15:00 |
Activity 2. The second activity of the day, a team gymkhana in the park. |
16:30 |
Lunch. It’s time to fuel up. |
It should be noted that at each camp there are full-day excursions, and two half-day excursions. On those days the children will not swim – except for the excursion to the El Jarama Farm/School, where a good dip awaits.
