EASTER LIVE NATURE
Our bilingual Easter Week camp.
Ages: From 6 to 16 (1th year of Primary to 4th year of Obligatory Secondary Education)
Location: Talamanca del Jarama (Madrid)
Activities: Nature, adventure and farm life activities at these Easter Week camps, in addition to workshops, games, evening programs, sports… Lots of fun in a program run half in English and half in Spanish.
Languages: Spanish and English
At our Easter Week Live Nature Camps we offer you a program of fun-packed Nature and Adventure activities. Children ages 6 – 16 will enjoy a range of Nature and Adventure activities in a 50-50 format: this is a bilingual Easter Week Camp where half of the activities are offered in English, and the other half in Spanish!
For about one week the young people will have fun engaging in a whole series of varied Nature, Adventure and Farm life activities. Due to its duration, it is a camp ideal for those boys and girls who have never spent time away from home before.
Of course, it is also an ideal camp for those who are a bit afraid of English and need a little encouragement. At this camp they will have the opportunity to discover that English can actually be used to communicate! Half of the counselors will be Spanish, and the other half English speakers, or bilingual, so they’ll be able to practice their English and improve it through half of the camp’s activities.
One of the goals of our English and/or bilingual camps is precisely for the children to develop their personalities and to acquire values and practice habits of harmonious coexistence like freedom, solidarity, responsibility and understanding, while learning, enjoying Nature, and improving their English skills – particularly in the areas of listening comprehension and oral expression – through linguistic immersion.
Campers will enjoy these Easter Week camps, featuring a program full of fun and new friends, engaging in all types of activities in Nature. They will participate in arts and crafts workshops, traditional and cooperative games, evening programs, sports, horseback riding, climbing, archery, canoeing, and a lot more – 50% of them conducted in English.
The children will also enjoy other type of activities centered on learning how to complete the tasks involved in running a traditional farm, in a proactive and participative way. They will milk a cow in the stable, and then will make cheese at the food transformation workshop. They will learn about tending to the orchard, vegetables, cereals, etc. and will also make bread with the flour from the wheat. They will learn about the sheep and the production of wool, and about birds, hens and eggs, etc.
6 days of fun and thrills in the company of new friends. Ideal for children spending time away from home for the first time
